So, here I am. Daniel Ruiz is my name. Father of two crazy kids, married to a beautiful wife.
Photography became by hobby around 2008 when I got my first camera, a Nikon D40. Like a lot people out there, family is the reason that ignites that passion on photography. There is something special on seeing your loved ones grow in pictures.
Its been a long journey with lots of things to learn, lots of things to try, lots of equipment bought (and sold) and obviously lots of pictures taken.
I will share that journey with you. This will include reviews, tips, techniques, processing, photo sessions / events I’ve been part of as well as personal stuff. I’m going to try and make this content accessible to everyone; which means I’ll be covering things that cater new photographers as probably experienced ones. Don’t expect graphical charts, pixel peeping, or very very technical information though.
I’m approaching this site from an artistic / real use angle. Low level technical information if you needed is already available in multiple sites on the Interwebz.
I’m looking forward on getting this site growing and enjoy making it happen.
Have fun!
